LEARNING TO SEE & DRAW
– ON PAPER
This
workshop is designed to teach students the various techniques in drawing by
understanding how lines and shapes are the primary focus for generating a
strong composition on paper. The class
examines perspective, casting shadows, contrast, contouring, hatching,
graduated values, highlighting, vanishing points, proportion, rough sketching
and much more.
The
tools needed for this workshop includes an artist pad, various shades of
graphite, color pencils, kneader eraser, sharpener and sandpaper block.
